I am really wanting to give these a go, but not really sure what place they would have in my kit! I tried to get a sample today but they havent got any. I would like to know if you have tried them and if you use them day to day.

thanks :)

I bought some at the popit demo I have never used them before but I really like them, they seem to be a lot thinner than other tips I have used, so they feel more natural on your nail, they look great when done with the popits as well, this is my opinion anyway, hope it helps.:)

thanks lyn, did you use them with gel or L&P? xxx

I used them with l&p I haven't tried them with gel yet, mmm maybe I will have a go this weekend.:)

I take it performance tips do or do not require blending?

'little to no blending' according to the catalogue. I can blend, I just wanted to know about alternatives :)

hi,
are you talking about the natural or the white ones. I have had the natural ones and i think they are great....i have to say i did blend then a bit though just out of habit really....they came out a lovely colour...looking totally real. they blend super sonic fast as well....just a few strokes and its done.

well only the natural ones really, I wouldnt need white ones, but then again I suppose it would not hurt to try them! thanks for the reply xx

I use the natural ones with Brisa gel and I really love them:)

they are FANTASTIC and cut time as they hardly need blending - usually just a bit at the sides

Its the shape and fit that I like....So quick and easy.

(natural and used with gel)

i just wondered i know that these are meant for people with abit of free edge but i just wondered if you were to blend them could you use them on a nail biter?

well i have used them on nail biters and yes they do blend - quick easy and well - they are fantastically thin!

hth

I like them, too, but I do find them a bit stubborn around the ears. I have trouble making them stick, even when I try to hold them in once I've got the middle fixed a bit. Any suggestions please?

what adhesive are you using ?

I am using speedbond, as recommended.

I apply the tip and then slide my thumbs either side of the nail and hold for a little bit...

yep i love these, i have been using the natural with L&P and like them a lot, bought the white ones last week and tried them and they are fine too,

they are really thin and a lovely shape as Angie said, and they blend well if you need to (ie biters) ive not had any probs, apart from the ears prob, but that was because we were told to use the gelbond from our kits, then i read the thread advising the use of speedbond, and voila no more probs

Very easy to use, and saves you time since you don´t need to blend them.

Performance is comming out this spring i a CLEAR version to, looking forward to that

I prefer tips with a well area, it kinda makes sure the natural nails free-edge is encapsulated in it's own neat little area (kinda caps it), whereas well-less tips (any brand) are just plonked on top and when they grow out, where the free edge is, naturally has a ledge that tends to collect dirt.

Also, when you think of the side profile (depth of acrylic application), without blending there has to be a thinner area of acrylic (the bit where it's not blended), which is pretty much the stress area.

We are all taught that the acrylic gives the strength (not the tip) and when using well-less tips, where that seam is, there is hardly any acrylic (unless you are doing thicker nails) ...... merely logic.

I've never had trouble blending a tip (it takes me 2 swipes across) and allows me to have a slightly thicker (completely unnoticeable coverage of acrylic where it's needed the most) lending itself to a me reinforced and durable nail ...... again (logical).

This video shows how easy it is to blend when you use a decent tip and have file knowledge, you will notice how the tips are so flexible I can actually squeeze them on to the nail, you will see them flex when I trim the length
With well video1Nail Zoo Video Page , or
With well video2Nail Zoo Video Page

With well-less tips unless you use a masking (coverage powder) you can still see the tip underneath (kinda like a French tip, unless you are using clear tips).
Here is the well-less tips video (it's a bit long, but it's from the prep stage)
Well-less tips videoNail Zoo Video Page

The company I use for most of my product has an amazing well-less tip, with beautiful straight sidewalls (You will see them in your country shortly)and can see the great shape in my well-less video.

Creatives well-less tips taper in and building them out is a pain.

Even though I consider the well-less tips my supplier has to be superior in shape to Creatives, I still prefer a tip with a well, (and just to demonstrate I am not bias) , I use tips from another company all together (as seen in my video with wells) they are a quarter of the price from the company I usually use and a 10th the price of Creatives.

I'm yet to discover a company that has it all......(no matter what they say/preach). I'm my own person and always will be. Even when I was a paid distributor and demonstrator (going back now), I refused to "flavor or favor a product, when I knew there was something better (or a better technique).

Well-less tips were once considered lazy (even by many in here) ..... now they are all the rage
... go figure.

Are they easier?
Are they better?
Or have we become lazy?

take my advice, I'm not using it !!!!
