Please can i have some advice?
I am very new to tanning. I have completed my training and at the moment am mostly practised on friends.
Sometimes, especially with legs i get dark patches building up. I blot them of and re-spray, but why does this happen and will it effect overall colour when washed off in the morning?
I wondered if maybe i get too close?
Thanks in advance for the advice

hi hun

This sounds like you are getting patches of overspray. Don't worry, happened to the best of us in the beginning! It could be caused by a few things, it could be that you are holding the gun a bit too close when spraying that area, it could also be because without realising you have gone over the same area more than you needed to. It could also be perhaps you are not moving the gun quick enough.
You could try turning the flow control screw down a smidge, that way you will reduce the amount of solution coming out of your gun.
It shouldn't affect the overall outcome of the tan, it's just a waste of solution more than anything and it will take longer to soak in.

Thank you
Can i ask
Would spraying over one area more than another make it darker, i was told that as long as you have covered all areas it wont matter if its a bit heavier as the colour will only take to a certain Shade.
I was told that a patchy tan is from the bits you have missed?
Does that make sense!

Yep, thats correct! As long as its all even and you havn't missed anywhere, it will all come out the same colour. If they want it a bit darker go up to the next %.

If you have gone over an area too much, don't worry, it will all come out the same, the wet areas just take longer to dry off thats all.
