Peekaboo extension highlights

Hi all! Got a client in next month for peekaboo extension highlights and im getting abit stumped on how to do it. Her hair is just below shoulder with long layers. She wanted abit of a change but no chemicals so we decided on 10" balmain extensions that im going to colour with Affinage 9.24 (will be cut to length) but im unsure where to place them for them to peek out :/ she has thick hair amd always wears it straight. Im thinking of doing them just above the ears but would like it if some of you could give me some advice/photos if youve done it before (or even colour) thank you! Xx
