i have a home salon and i offer l&p mainly but i do have a couple of gel clients. I do loads of Brisa french toes in the summer especially though. I dont do fibreglass. Why do you ask ?

I do just gel at the moment but I'm hoping to learn acryclic in time as well, I think it would definitely improve my business and increase my clients. I'm not sure about fibreglass - my trainer has said it's not very popular and nails done this way are not very strong. Is this true? Do you think it's worth me learning how to do this as well?

I work from home and offer L&P and gel - I do mainly L&P though - and I also do gel toes!

It's handy being able to give your clients a choice.

I do Gel...(fingers and toes) I have never really felt I was loosing out with only doing gel. If someone rings and asked about acrylic (I know its L&P but client always refer to it as acrylic) I say "I use a acrylic gel"....this usually then leads to .... is it as strong, are they good...then usually can I book...:lol:

I never just say No....I sell them what I do use.

i offer only gel. my clients are happy with it and never felt the need to offer other systems as i love working with gel.

I offer L&P only. Which has never been a problem, I've looked into doing gel but feel its not for me at the moment!!! I think really its whats best for you, as if your confident in that system then you can make it work, most of the time. With the rare exception, guess there's always one client, lol. Its about selling your system & expertise to the client & accessing how you can make it work for them.

i did offer l&p and fibreglass but i just had no call for fibreglass so i dont offer it anymore although i am hoping to offer gel soon so lets hope that goes down better.

What do you offer???......which one do you think is best to do ????...i think some like acrylic more than gel and vis versa.....depends which one you get on better with.both are good.are you having problems with gel or acrylic???

L&P, I just didn't want to train in gel until I was totally happy with l&p so I still don't do gel:lol:
