Pop-its!!!!!

Firstly,do you think that although they are a quick and efficient way of applying enhancements, do you think that by using them you are 'cheating' I can't make up my mind???

Also, I still dont understand why the acrylic doesn't set in the pop-it while you are applying the 3 beads to it prior to pressing onto the finger?

Lastly, when you press it onto the finger, wont it just 'squidge' out the sides and touch the cuticle and side walls?

See, im confused

Cheating who? Is a decorator cheating you when he uses a roller instead of a brush to apply paint? Just a different method.

If all those things happened when used correctly do you think I would be endorsing them?

There are approx one million threads and posts here on the site about PopIts!! Including Q&A's in the articles and tutorials section. I have written most of them so in order not to have to write it all again for your benefit, do you think you could do a search and find the info you want from that? Then if you've more Q´s you can return to this thread and post them?

NOPE, they create a near perfect mold of acrylic where it's needed (and no buffing)

Also, I still dont understand why the acrylic doesn't set in the pop-it while you are applying the 3 beads to it prior to pressing onto the finger?
It doesn't set when you don't faff about (you can do it in 2 beads, or even one)

Lastly, when you press it onto the finger, wont it just 'squidge' out the sides and touch the cuticle and side walls?

NOPE, not if you have put the right amount of acrylic in the Popit.

Popits are in no way cheating because you still need skills to rebalance them, many may see Popits as the ultimate answer to doing nails, but whats the point if you can't service the client beyond putting their set on ? So it's still down to being able to do nails with traditional skills the traditional way.

Thank you Adele and Nailzoo your answers were very helpful.

When I postedthis thread I had looked at the previous threads but was still slightly confused and by asking the question of cheating-it wasnt meant as an insult!!!
