Hello, My sister in law has text me today saying she has shown a friend a picture i texted her of my nails. They are these ones in the critique section
http://www.salongeek.com/nail-critiques/87214-first-go-coloured-powder.html

Anyway her friend says she really wants some, would i do them and how much would they be. Now as i have my final assessment this week at college i havent really put myself out there yet, so to speak. I would like to them for her, as i think it will be a good first step, moving on from just practising on friends and on to friends of friends etc. So my question really is what should i charge? i dont have any price lists yet, i wanted to put something together soon that had introductory offers. I dont want to charge too much as she knows i've been training, and i dont want to go too low as if she wants to continue as a client she might not like a price jump to the introductory prices. I was thinkining maybe just £12 and say that is the price as she is my model.
Sorry guys that this is so long, i just dont know what to do! HELP!
xx

If you're confident enough in your work, then yes I think £12 is very fair (your work is great by the way)

When I was training I didn't charge anything, but made it clear that once I was qualified, that would change. I felt better not asking for money, so if there were any problems later with the nails like lifting or breakages,
then I wouldn't be beating myself up.

Good luck... hope you do a fab job:hug:
