I seem to have endless trouble with forms, but I have come across these nail forms that are said to be reusable and fit any finger as they 'close' around the finger.
Has anyone seen these before and if so do they work / are they any good???
Thanks

I have some, and find them 'fiddly', so they collect dust.
But then, maybe it's a practice thing, don't know.

sorry, couldn't be more help.

I had some but I didn't like them. I only used them a couple of times and some of them cracked so I had to bin them. I much prefer disposables

yes. they work pretty well. we used them in school. i use the reuseable nail forms now more than the ones that are disposable. u save money and all you have to do is sanitize the reusable forms. i think those are easier to use also :green:

I have had forms similar to these too, I didn't like them and ended up giving them away....
However I have some acra c forms... they are re-usable and are amazing.... they give a beautiful form to the nail...

I do have a bit of trouble fitting them to other people but thats only due to lack of practice...
I don't know who sells them anymore...or where lol...
I know CND sold them a long time ago....but don't anymore x

Now you are teasing Emma ............ Acra-C are not manufactured anymore which is why they are not sold anymore.

You and a few of us who still have them are lucky .. they were a brilliant form.

The ones pictured in this post are not uncommon (many different people sell them) but they are not comfortable for clients to wear and do not stay n place unless you really clamp them on the finger and then they pinch and are painful.. I do not care for them.

The CND Performance forms close around the finger and are disposable and made with a Teflon coating for easy 'pop off'. They also have a terrific adhesive backing that keeps them very sturdy on the finger. If you want some 08452106060 is the number to call.

OPI (Lena White) sell these type of forms. I have some and have only used them once. The result was good but I found them quite fiddly to use but I guess it's like anything, practice makes perfect!

Is there any reason they dont manufacture them anymore?

Personally I would give these re usable forms a body swerve. Too fiddly and as Geeg says uncomfortable for the client.
Also you cannot tailor them!!
The only re usable forms I would recommend are the Acra C ones......I have some and will never part with them though for the life of me I cannot remember the last time I used them. ;)

Disposable Forms have come a long way from the bad old days of the Horseshoe (instrument of the Devil ) to the wonderful coated, shape keeping, stay in place, winged forms we all use now.
I love the Nfu.Oh forms with 2 wings/tabs to ensure perfect stability and c curve, and as they come in Round ,Oval and Square to suit all clients you don't even need to tailor at all!!!

Oooh do I sound like a sculpting snob now?......I do use tips too honest

I used these metal reusable forms for years. They are really fiddly and often loose their shape over time. Also, they aren't recommended for gels as the UV light may not penetrate the gel completely - leaving a gel nail undercured.
