Hi

I'm desiging some leaflets ( well trying to!) and was wondering if anyone knew of any online companies that you may have used to print out your leaflets. I'm looking for somewhere that works nationally as well?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Firstly why dont you print out your own, that's what I do.I print them as I need them, usually 20 at a time.I do all my own gift vouchers and marketing material.Saves a fortune and I can print as I need, perfect.

Other than that you could use Vista Print.A lot of people use them and they do a lot of freebies.HTH

Hi
I'm looking to print quite a large amount as in 100's so I would rather use a printing company rather than my own printer!

Hi i use Bimbo Designs they have been great just got my trifold pricelists back and just waiting on flyers and business cards to arrive :) Very pleased so far. xx

Ah yes,makes sense.:D

ive used vista print before and was really pleased with the result. its easy to use and the quality of their leaflets/postcards and business cards are excellent. also the more you use them the cheaper it becomes to reorder.

You might want to have a look at people like BestPrinting UK - Flyers print, Leaflet printing, Flyers printing, Colour Leaflets, Posters, A5 Leaflets and Goodprint Ltd - Premium quality business cards and stationery delivered worldwide. and Business Cards, Business Card Printing, Leaflet, Flyer Printers, Letterheads, Posters, UK Printers

For flyer printing they're all much of a muchness as its easy and cheap to do.

Whatever you do though, if you're not going local and getting it done by an online printer..make sure you get a proof on the design and make sure its 100% right (using 300dpi images and it being CMYK) BEFORE it goes to print- even if you have to pay a little more to see one.

Again www.Vistaprint.com are awesome! I use them for most printing stuff because the qualities so good as well as reasonable prices. you can save your designs and have your own portfolio, (and then it automatically suggests matching stationary , t-shirts, pens, address labels etc. for you which is quite dangerous, and you end up spending loads so be careful there!:D)
30% off at the moment as well...

I really don't like Vistaprint! And I don't think they are actually that cheap, and their business cards are horrible!

My printers of preference are:

Stress Free Print (printed proof and 2 day turn around from UK based printer included in price)
Best Printing - Cheap! Their 250gsm gloss flyers are excellent.
Saxo Print - Again cheap, and good quality! But no proof's, ok if your experienced but more expensive if you need proofs.

If you want one of those pull-up banners these guys are amazing! Print Designs I have their £70 inc VAT + Delivery budget banners, and it is superb! Perfect if you do any promotional work, shows etc.

I'm also quite anti-self printed promotional materials (the exception here being manuals). I think they look what they are ... cheap. They could be beautifully designed but the paper they are printed on, the finish etc doesn't look professional to me.

And flyers aren't expensive! 1,000 A6 for £35 inc VAT + Delivery from Best Printing!

Saxo do a file checking service for an extra £5 which should see any problems off at the pass. They're actually in Germany using the best printing machines in the business...but can be a bit of a pain to work with sometimes.

As far as home printing goes- I agree- not for leaflets or anything in bulk- but for vouchers (printed on photocard/paper) or anything low volume then I think it CAN be fine- if you've got the right design (with LOADS of white)- have the printer cranked up as high as it'll go, and choose the right gsm paper.

Just dont expect something cobbbled together on Word and then printed on crap paper to look anything remotely professional. For the money you'll save, it might do more harm than good.

But yes, totally not worth it for bulk marketing stuff.

If your looking for a company who do printing only, try - PrintCarrier.com - the printing people.

They are really cheap, I'm about to use them fro my new leaflets, and I'm getting 1,000 folded A5 leaflets for only £65.00 which is real bargain compared to the other prices I found.

I've just brought 2,500 leaflets for £61 inc delivery from multicolourleaflets.com they are really nice

I've had big problems with saxoprint. The business cards they did for me were rubbish but they didnt give a toss and refused to do anything about it.

Hi Folks

just to let you know that my company Print Angels (www.printangels.co.uk) provide extremely inexpensive high quality print with in-house design services. We already supply a lot of companies in the Hair and Beauty sector with everything from loyalty cards, price lists, gift vouchers and bus cards. I noticed you were talking about flyers and postcards so here's a few headline prices...

5000 Double-sided A5 Flyers on 130gsm gloss = £150 inc Delivery
(non vatable)
5000 Double-sided A6 Postcards on 300gsm gloss card = £190 inc delivery (non vatable)

Let me know what you think? You can email me at [email protected]

Turnaround is 3-5 working days

Well the A5 flyer prices are 66% more expensive than what I paid with Sense Creative, Business Cards, Business Card Printing, Leaflet, Flyer Printers, Letterheads, Posters, UK Printers - they charge £90 for 5000 double sided A5 full colour flyers, and on 170gsm gloss too (so slightly better quality) including delivery (and zero VAT). The only disadvantage being that the turnaround time was a bit longer (just over a week)...

I recommend you to go to printing china, a good place where you can find various solutions about printing, including easy way to copy written books and signed books.

Talk about revive an old thread :)

It's weird because I was just thinking about finding a place for various solutions about printing, including easy way to copy written books and signed books.
