Recommend a good colourist in Guildford / Woking area please:)

I have been trying for a week to get an appointment with a salon my friend recommended to me, but answer phone goes on and no ones gets back to me...great they are busy but I need a revamp!

Not had a colour for years now and what is the best shampoo to used before you get a colour? and is it still required not to wash your hair the day you get it done? Am I showing my age now??

A decent mild clarifying shampoo is best before colouring ,
but don't wash it on the actual , day leave for two days without washing .

Please don't use any shampoos like Pantene as they coat the hair ,
as colour sometimes cannot penetrate through the coating as well as it should ,
also the coating that Pantene shampoo leaves behind can take up to six or eight shampoos to get rid of the buildup :hug: hth
