Resin strengthener for natural nails?

Have been asked today if I know about a resin strengthener for natural nails. The lady thinks it costs about £15. Anyone any ideas what she is thinking of?

Silk wraps? Only thing I can think of that uses resin - alot of people have it over natural nails. Altho you can do silks with tips aswell to give extra length.

Its the resin used for silk wraps as said above it can be used just as a strengthening layer on naturaly week nails though

I get the impression she thinks it's some kind of treatment which affects the actual nail rather than something put over the top to protect. Personally I think she's misunderstood someone but I could be wrong, new things are coming out all the time.
