If they are decent scissors I would seek the manufacturers advice or sharpening service.

A cautionary tale - I had my Japanese cobalt scissors sharpened a couple of years ago at salon and they have never been the same since. I thought it was worth the risk as were quite blunt (it certainly wasn't). If I could go back I would send them overseas and get them sharpened properly (as I was advised). I now need to find a replacement and sadly they are not sold in UK [emoji24]

They've already been sharpened twice. They usually bend the hair. [emoji17]
They're my first 'expensive' pair. And I have emotional attachment to them. Although I rarely use them. X
