i've always used l&p with a tip but want to try sculpting a tip on, is it best to sculpt the tip (white or other colour!!) then the pink or the pink first then the tip?
i use IBD l&p

There are two ways of doing this the first as you said White then pink or use reverse application (which I use for extended nail bed enhancements) you can do a search on the latter and find loads of great info and tips, also look at the tutorial "million Dollar Smiles" this should help you start off on the right foot, you might want to practice smiles on a sheet or the backing from your sculpting forms. Happy Sculpting

Hi hun tbh, ur tip is just ur canvas to sculpt ontop, it is not for strength. Weather I do all pink or clear or pink and white either on as tip or on a form I will sculpt in zones either with 2 zones or 3. Zone 1 being your freeedge so your white when doingP&W then zone 2 then 3 by your eponychium.

I self taught myself sculpting on a form an tbh it takes hrs and hrs of practise, I was taught to sculpt on a tip and just went home and got my forms out and went right,,,,,, and practised,,,and practised,, done free sets fo friends and family. \I found at first I place a bead on my form and make myseld a thin layer which resembles where my tip would be, then another bead and just imagine it was a tip. But you have to build a little thicker not much., and also watch your side walls, and make sure your form is placed correctly,,,,,, ohhhh dont know how long I spent troubleshooting,,and I am by no means experienced. I am doing some 1-1 with cnd to ensure my little habits are not bad ones,,iygwim.
