Hello everybody,
I have a question for you shellac geeks. My supplier hasnt been able to answer and I would like to know if anyone else tried the following: lets say my client comes with her 2-3weeks old set of gels or acrylics, can I just file off some product to make the growth flush to the natural nail, and apply shellac all over it? A Shellac backfill, Id say.
I know you can apply shellac over artificial nails (no base coat needed, my supplier says), but I was wondering if I could apply it BOTH to the natural nail (growth) and to the remaining gel-acrylic. This way I could do very quick 2 week fills on clients who are kind on their nails, and rebalance w/gel the whole set after another 2 weeks. What do you think, does it make sense to you? And has anyone tried?
Thanks!
