Hi everyone just wanted to ask you advise,

As i am designing my new pricelist and i will be adding gel to my list of treatments i wondered, do you charge more for gel than you do acrylic,

I had a chat with one of the ladies at my local creative one stop shop and she was pointing out to me that gel products cost more compared to acrylic and that you don't get as many sets out of gel for your money, which i didn't realise as my first lot of gel was the pack and i hadn't yet studied the prices!!

So would you or do you charge more for gel??

At the minute i charge £45 for a set of nails with acrylic so instead of putting £2.50 aside for the product ued in each treatment i was thinking of putting £5 aside for each gel client!!

Just wondered what you guys charge?

i charge the same for either gel or l and p i charge 48.50 a set at the moment but am thinking of having an increase,
i charge the same as, sometimes i reccommend a system over the other and wouldnt want to have a different price for it as it might sway clients one way or the other
but its totally up to you i suppose

I charge the same for all 3 systems £30.

There are a couple of salons a while away from me that charge alot for Silk/fibreglass as they say its luzury on the nail!! lol!! They advertise it as non damaging, unlike gel and l&p. tee hee hee! idiots!

I charge the same, otherwise you get people going for the cheapest option

I agree, I would recommend charging the same for l&p and gel. It gives your clients the option of one or the other without feeling they have to pay more just because they want gel.

If you want to put a little more ££ aside when doing a gel set then this can help to build up you gel product range, but I wouldn't charge differenty.

I charge the same for all three systems.

I charge the same for all 3 systems too.

The fact that you are at present more proficient in l&p too doesn't make sense for you to charge more for the system you are less skilled in.

Yea, charge the same for all 3 too.:)

I charge the same too:)

I charge the same for all 3 systems xx

And I charge the same for all 3 systems.

I also charge the same regardless of the system used.

big  to you all
