Hi,
I am just starting out as a nail technician and wanted to know if toe nail extensions are prepped and put on etc in the same way as hands?

Thanks:)

Yes, they are, but you don't need to build an apex. If you really do mean "extensions" rather than "ehancements" don't extend too far at all, as it is so easy for an accident to happen, causing serious damage. HTH xx

a couple of things to watch when you do toes...

make sure your prep is really thorough because theres lots more cuticle build up on toes so it will need more attention.

and you might want to consider using a smaller brush. what looks like a small amount of product can be larger than you think when you get it on a tiny toenail, especially when you do pink and whites. a smaller brush can help overcome this easily and it will help you keep the product away from the skin.

I have just started using LCN Wilde Pedique (for toes) and a lavender hologram glitter. They look absolutely fab lol and I have the wortst toe nails in the world. They have a special offer on at the moment £30.00 instead of £45.00 for a starter kit which contains the wilde stuff. Oh dear I can see I'll be spending a fortune the hologram stuff is great!

Do you mean NNO....(natural nail overlay) on toes....? if so then prep..and just apply the product thinly....no building.
