Whenever I apply foundation by the end of the day or nearing the end of the day (approx 3pm-5pm) is seems to have worn off. Although, I think its more a case of it has sunk into my skin as I have reasonably dry skin.
I sometimes get dry patches and if I am lazy or forget to take my make-up off in the evening, by the following evening my skin will be dry.
I apply moisturiser twice a day-morning and night, so is it a case of moisturising more or using a more suitable foundation. At the moment and for some time I have been using L'Oreal True Match in the mousse form as liquid foundations dont last long at all and I prefer the way a mousse applies to the skin.

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Have you tried a primer?
Chanel's Blanc de Blanc is a good one.

The price is a good one too lol.
So would I apply a primer to the whole of my face, after moisturiser, but before foundation?

Primer is what i would suggest too.

yep, and as with most products, you get what you pay for. You don't need very much of it, and it provides a good surface for the foundation to adhere to. You might want to get some samples of a decent foundation too!

i wear estee lauder double wear and my make up looks as perfect in the evening as when i 1st applied it - you can get a sample in boots or where ever sells it and give it a go to see what you think before buyin it .. its 22.50p to buy full bottle

I agree with the other girls, you would do better with a better quality foundation. There is a huge difference in foundations and I always advise my clients to spend money on their skincare and foundation and if they have to save money then do it on the colour. :)
