Martine has asked me to close this thread. At the end of the day someone has been hurt and whether or not we agree with the compensation culture, often we have to think long term as to how an injury could affect us in our old age. But that is not a decision that we can make. Leave the decisions down to the courts rather than trying to be judge and jury on here - we are not the legal or medical experts.
