I'm using Christrio's soak off builder gel for extensions on myself, and I'm planning on using this on my clients when the salon opens next week...

But I noticed that when I soak these off, the gel starts to curve on my nail. I have incredibly thin nails so when I look, it's forming like an extreme c-curve against my nails. It hurts a LOT after a while. So far I've been trying different ways to soak them off but I'm not having much luck.

I really want to stick to the foil and cotton ball method when soaking off, but it's not working for myself... I don't think it's gonna be much of a problem for people with normal nails, but it's probably gonna hurt for those with nails like me.

Does anyone have any advise as to what I could do?

file it off till its thin, then soak

Yes I agree with Marion file it carefully until it is thin and it should be ok as it will not be thick or strong enough to bend your natural nail. :)
