I have been looking at various videos on youtube and noticed that everyone sprays really fast. Is this the speed I should be spraying at? Do they get good coverage / results going so fast?
Now when i got trained we were told to go alot slower, is this because this is how it should be done to get best results or is it just to use more solution hence buy more solution???

I do apply the spray that fast but i have a lot more control, they seemed to be just acting up a bit for the camera iywim,
the more you do spray tanning you will get closer to the body and move much quicker,
spraying this fast and at the distance they were spraying was wasting a lot of solution and the clients looked quite wet when they had finished so i would say don't bother watching and learning from those videos hun as it will cost you a lot in solution, hth

i also thought they were too far away when i do it im only a hand length or 6 inches far, but i do spray alot slower... i dont use those vids to learn from... i just enjoy watching spray tanning...lol some are really bad..hehe, but thank you i guess it can confuse one

I spray tan pretty fast also, I guess it doesnt really matter hwo fast you do it so long as the output of your gun matches your speed and you feel comfortable and confident!

Just watched the vids they do spray fast! I was taught by Lisa one of the girls in the vid and she taught us to spray slower and about 10-12 inches away from the body, I'm presuming that as you get more experienced with tanning you can spray faster, I still spray quite slow lol xx

The rate at which one applies a spray tan is very much one of individuality....you will generally find that the more experienced therapists will apply the solution somewhat faster than a newbie....its basically down to usage and consequential experience.

The main factor is that the output volume from the gun is in sink with the speed at which you move across the body.

I do spray tan that fast, i didnt at first i was rather slow but over time have become faster and faster, i still know what im doing and still able to spray just as good.
Its easier for me if i was to spray tan slow spray would come out allot more on the skin i.e clog. As i have my dial up a little higher, as i have a constant flow rather than stop start.

she is spraying all over the place!!!!

this defiantly is not how i spray, she is getting more on the floor than the client..
