Hi Guys. I have a mini-mist t200 and am mobile. i have been asked to a house to spray a few girls one after the other. How many do you think is the most my machine will do in 1 night? i have only ever done 2 in 1 sitting. also 1 girl is having her 1st tan and needs a patch test. I use tantrick but im not sure how to patch test spray tan? should i put the soluation in the machine and spray a bit or should i put a bit of the actual product straight from the bottle on her?

Thanks
Gem

For patch test i use a cotton bud and put the solution on behind the ear with it. As for the machine babe, your best to contact the company you got it from. xxx

Hi Gem

Your machine should be fine. By the time you have tanned one girl and she has dressed, your machine will have cooled and be ready to use again. I do a lot of parties and the T200 is great - it won't be on constantly so shouldn't pose any problems.

Make sure you patch test 24 hrs before tanning in case of a reaction.

I would do the patch test 24 hours before, I would patch test on inner thigh.

I have the Mini Mist purchased from Tantrick 3 years ago, great little machine, the most I have ever done in one session is 5 girls I did for a prom. Switch it off inbetween each tan whilst they get dressed and next one ready and should be fine.

Jules - how do you patch test? and how many do you do at a party?

Hi

Most I have done with T200 is 8. I patch test (as mentioned before) dip cotton bud in solution, dab on tummy or leg area - leave for 24 hrs. Any reaction should have shown itself by then.

It was a while ago but the most I have done in one session is 10. The minimist performed beautifully without any problems. Whilst your client is dressing and then your have gone through your next consultation with the client, the machine is sufficient cooled to do your next tan.

This is bad of me I know but I no longer patch test my clients unless they say they have ultra sensitive skin or have had a previous reaction to tanning products. I did used to do this but people just didn't want to come in for a patch test and then again for a tan, they went somewhere else where a patch test wasn't done at all.

I have the same machine and I managed 10 in one night, the only thing I will say is that I did get very hot as the air coming out of the machine tends to get warm and heat the area up which is nice for the client, but not for you!!

I've did 10 in one night but stopped halway through at no.5 and had a quick coffee break to allow the machine to cool down.

before Xmas I was doing two parties some nights, most at a party has been 8 but it does have time to cool down when i'm inbetween clients and then travelling to next party. In March I have a party of 12 at least booked in! Never mind the machine, I think I will burn out after that one lol
