Spray Tanners - Recommend me a moisturiser please!!!

After reading the other thread about how oil is used for stripping tan (which will come in very useful!!!) I am now wondering what moisturiser to use after my tans?

I am just after something I can pick up in Boots, not necessarily an expensive or professional product, as it os for my own personal use (I don't do spray tans, but I have them regularly).

I currently use Soap and Glory "The Righteous Butter" but not sure if this is oily? Can anyone recommend a tried and tested high street lotion for me?:green:

I don't know what brand solution you are being sprayed in but your technician should retail everything needed. I would ask her to see if she can pick you up some as it is designed to be used especially for spray tans.

i know of one popular tanning company which retails its moisturizer and its laced with oils... so dont quite understand this .... i think the best thing to do is read the ingredients on a simple moisturizer and make sure there is no oil in it....there are loads.

I use good old Aqueous Cream, which can be found just about everywhere, its costs about £3 for a massive tub......I love it its a brilliant staple item!!:green:

Its brilliant, gets you make up, can be used as a wash and a moisturiser!!

I have been looking for a while now and cant seem to find any or a body wash that is oli free soap free sls free and ph neutral lol I'm going to buy some fake bake oil free moisturiser the huge bottle just for my self lol I'm still looking for a body wash to no avail.............lol xx

She has just started using Sienna X... She will have to order it in for me, and I also don't really want to spend too much!!! I was hoping for something I can just nip and get myself for the time being.

presuming it's just man made oils that break down tans then ?? xx

Try weleda bodywashes, they are georgous, they wont dry the skin as they have natural foaming agents in them. They do have essentials oils in them just for the aroma but i would be really surprised if it striped your tan. Also great prices £7.50 250mls. Waitrose sells the range.

i know it is definetly free from oils as i checked for that. Not sure about anything else that is bad for tans but i presume not because i have been using it for weeks now and becuase its kids it would have to have kind and gentle ingredients in it xx

Its a berluddy minefield isnt it!!!! I just want to be able to buy a moisturiser!!! LOL why is it so difficult!!!!

think manmade means mineral oil as opposed to plant made as in essential and base oils
