IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR SPRAY TANS AND IF SO WOULD YOU GET THE PARENTS TO SIGN A DISCLAIMER,

WHAT IS THE YOUNGEST CLIENT YOU HAVE SPRAYED?

It depends on your insurer so ask them. If they are happy for under 16s then you would need their parent present at the time as they would be getting undressed in front of you.

There is no minimum legal age limit however two factors most certainly need considering

1) Insurance cover...some insurers do specify minimum ages...check with yours

2) Good old common sense....make sure you get written confirmation from a guardian...who must be present when you receive it...kids are clever and can forge things and that you also have another adult in the building if you do decide to spray tan a minor...especially if that minor is of the opposite gender to you.

Generally speaking no real issues...kids grow up so fast these days...compared to when I was a kid when kids were most definitely ...well erm....kid's

The youngest person I've ever sprayed is my daughter - but she is 13 so I guess that's not very shocking!

We have just got back from a glitz pageant in Texas though, and all the girls there are sprayed to compete from about ..... 3 years, possibly 2.

Now that IS young. However the youngest competitor there (not tanned) was a little girl of 6 weeks of age. Does that put it into perspective? lol!!

Iev tanned 13 years olds for a party. I made sure they all got a patch test & all got parents to sign. It all went fine but it is down to common sense. People tan dance schools so its the same kind of thing. They all loved it and the ones who did wear make up i advised them with there new lovely tan there was no need for it.
