St Tropez?

Hello lovelys!

I was just wondering what you guys think.. I trained with St Tropez Spray & cream and have both certificates & badges etc.. and i use the cream tanning but i want to start using Tan Truth spray because i think it has a better result and its really natural.. do you think i should just stick to st tropez cos i can display my certificates and it will look more professional or doesnt it matter?

I am training to use St Tropez 'hands on tan' with my level 3 now, so I wanted to carry on using st tropez...I cantacted them to see if i could purchase the salon size bottles and they said I needed to buy a package and they sent me all the info....right I rang to order the mobile package which says on the letter 'become a fully qualified st tropez tanner (only available with the mobile package)) right so far so good....I haven't been able to actually speak with my local rep in person as we allways end up just missing each other and leaving messages on the phone...anyhow I ordered direct from the company with the reps permission as we kept missing each other, and I asked if there was training included and she said there was but I needed to sort that out with my local rep!!! right so I rang her and left another message saying I wanted to do the training as I would like a st tropez certificate and want to be trained by them, then she sent me a message back saying 'i thought you were already trained, I will send you an up to date training manual out' (this was last week and I havent received anything yet. but I feel short changed here...:irked: I know I am doing my training at college for st tropez but as it states in the letter I should get trained with the rep too, I realise we keep missing each other on the phone but shouldn't she be doing more? or am I just being awkward...?

I think you should choose whatever you think is the better product on your clients.. Thats the MOST important thing.

IMO - You can still display your certificates as "certification of training" & also TanTruth as your chosen product.

Just make sure your customers are aware that you use a diff product & that your Training was with St Tropez, along with why you love your chosen product & why you choose to use it.

I have just done my training with naturasun and although i loved the product i found tantruth a bit cheaper and just as nice a colour!! I tell everyone who asks that i am trained to spray tan but that i use tantruth or solglo and let them choose!! Can't see any harm in using the different products as long as you have been trained how to spray!!

It has to be one of the worst tanning solutions out there. There are so many better ones out there. Why not get some samples first before deciding to go with them.
Sienna -x and Tantrick are in my opinion, the better ones. They both send samples out free of charge. You will see a hell of a difference. A much more golden colour xxx

i use tantruth in my salon and everyone comments how natural it is. My clients are very happy with it. Tan is a matter of opinion

because like single sparkle said, it is very natural and the times i have used it, it has never gone streaky and i have never had a complaint, it also goes a golden sun kissed colour so i thought my clients would love it aswell as me, i always do my friends spray tans and use it and they have never complained.

It has to be one of the worst tanning solutions out there. There are so many better ones out there. Why not get some samples first before deciding to go with them.

I am quite suprised you have said this hun! All my clients are very pleased with TanTruth. To be honest i wasnt going to use it but when practising after my training, everyone seemed to really love it so have stuck with it. Everyone is entitled to use what they feel comfortable with and what their clients are happy with surely? xx

Absolutely hun. Was just pointing out that there are better options out there. The reason I say this is due to many clients ringing me to 'fix' their Tantruth tan. I'd gone to see them only to find them completely orange! But if the Therapist is happy and so are the clients then it's all good for everyone :hug: xxx

You should stick with the product that your clients love the most!

This is the reason they come back!

I started out with Tantrick & use it on some clients, however Tantruth is my clients favourite, I came across this when I ran out of solution & borrowed some from my friends salon.. I was so impressed with it & so ARE my clients...

I have never ever had one complaint relating to this solution either application or colour! & every single client I have spray tanned come back.

Same goes for Tantrick.. Not one complaint

I dont feel any particular tan is suited to everyone & you will find this as you go along,

" IF IT AINT BROKE - DONT FIX IT "
