Thought CG was back then 😢

This is the muted mauve used over highlights. On the true level 10 in front ( this was already lightened before these highlights) it gave a nice lilac. It worked as an amazing toner on the rest. 20 mins at 13 volume.

What will happen if I use a 9% developer with ocean storm on preloved lightened hair?

I had a play with instamatics and colour id down in Dublin studio. This was result I got. I used muted mauve, pink dream, oven storm and minted jade. Hair needs to be quite light to work.

Im not a fan, the pink tones in instamatic always look so faded! Id always create my own, 10/0 & 0/65 and fades off lovely and leaves the blonde hair a cleaner creamy colour!

What ratio would you mix this at please? X

I have to admit I am very disappointed. I usually mix my own with colour touch special mix to either add pastel to pre lightened hair or to mask unwanted tones on colour changes. I know it is meant to be a filter rather than full coverage but me and the girls at the salon decided to test it out on myself! My hair was a base 6 at the root and an 8 mid lengths and ends. We used p/l to take the blonde higher then in the last 15 minutes ran throughout the existing blonde to lighten further! Lift to a 10 rather clean although slightly yellow. To my disappointment the pink dream went salmon!!! Not only that it actually lifted the root area where we had balayaged lighter pieces throughout the front. I think il stick to using special mix! Much more predictable! Also don't like how the tubes have a name rather than a number!! Curious to know if anyone has had any trouble with this colour lifting virgin hair?

I have used insta to tone my own bleached hair (lev 10) and yes it has 'temporarily' lighted my 1cm virgin 7 roots, so its doing a great job of blending them together whilst i wait out that horrible regrowth bit. This is my 3rd go with Instamatic and so far it seems not to have permanently lifted my root area.
(Pink was the strongest colour to show in my hair, but sadly washed out rather brassy. Muted mauve had a slight lilac feel but so muted i was disappointed , today i have used muted mauve with ocean storm and that is more of a grey tone.
Thinking i may stick with crazy colour h/lites for that temp purple daze effect i wished i had got with insta as it washes out around 2 or so washes!

If you don't like using crazy colours, there are some good formulas on here for L'Oreal for purple, pink, denim and so on and I've had really good results with them. Clients have found they last well and fade out nicely without leaving any issues with staining

Is it ok to use instamatic pink dream with normal peroxide if you were stuck?
