Suggestions?

Hi,

I'm planning to take a manicure and pedicure course in the next academic year which doesn't start until September 09, as I really need one which is local to me. Can anyone recommend any good books to read in the meantime? The course is an ITEC level 2.

the complete nail technician and the encyclopedia of nails are both good books, i bought them last year when i started college and they both really helped with my studies x

I have both of these - they're great! And if you felt like going on to do enhancements they have everything you need to know.

Shop around for prices though - i got mine through Willen Books. they have various books and postage is free! xx

I do want to study enhancements eventually, and I've managed to get a copy of the Complete Nail Technician, and Elaine Almond's Manicure, Pedicure and Advanced Nail Techniques. Will have plenty of reading to do over Christmas!
