Hi

I have a T200 which is brilliant. However, I have noticed tonight that when I close the solution flow screw fully the needle is protruding out of the nozzle. I am sure that when I bought his gun it always sat flush with the nozzle. I was so excited tonight to try out new tantrick but it seemed that I had to do 4 full turns to even get solution out, whereas usually I do one full turn. It's this protruding needle that is giving me the problems! The machine is new and only been used 4 times.

Any ideas? I have studied the instructions but they are very confusing and does not mention protroding needles! I dont my training with Sienna and we never covered this! Maybe I am going mad but I am certain that it always sat flush.

Does you needle protroude?!

Mine protrudes by about a millimetre? how far is yours sticking out? 4 full turns sounds like a lot to get solution out

That doesnt sound right.

Mine is the minimist and seems to sit flush. I only need to turn it about 3/4 of a turn too.

Have you tried dismantling the needle as you would when you clean it and re- assemble it again?

Have you taken your gun apart to clean it and lost any of the bits maybe ?

I would contact the company you bought it form and tell them the probs you are having.

4 full turns is LOADS, the needle should be slightly sticking out but like Sherrie said just by 1mm.

:green: As serious as your reply was it made me chuckle! Well I had a fiddle and gave it a good clear out before I posted on here. Thankfully it is only protruding by about a millimetre so it must be ok. I was sure it was flush before but must have been my imagination! How many turns do you usually do? I was taught half a turn but I find I don't get any solution out with that..

Thanks for info.. P.S. Love the dog, I have an Akita!

well, if you imagine the dial as a clockface I reckon I turn my dial anti-clockwise to about 4 or 5 o'cock? not even a full turn!! Have you tried marking your dial when fully closed so that you can see exactly how far you have turned it and you are not just guessing? I marked mine with nail polish on the dial and at the 12 0'clock point when the dial is fully closed.

Are you spraying onto a piece of couch roll? you only need to see the colour on the tissue, not wet it through.. I'm sure you already know this but you never know!! lmao

Thanks for the dog comments - get my new baby tomorrow!!! :green:
