Hi geeks, just after a bit of advice...

I trained with Fake Bake at the beginning of last year and things are going great with that but I'm considering offering another brand in the near future.

My question is just about training really.

Fake Bake came into my college for a day's training and I received my certificate from them.

What I'm wondering is if this kind of training is fully accredited so that i can use other brands without training to use their products? I didn't think to ask at the time of my training as i bought all my products and equipment from Fake Bake.

I have no problem training with another brand, i just wouldn't want to waste my money on extra training if i don't need it.

Any help with this would be much appreciated :)

Sarah x

You should be able to use any brand of solution you like your not restricted to the company you trained with :)

This is only if her course was accredited. If you just get a certificate to say you are just trained in one type of solution then using another one will invalidate your insurance.

What does your certificate say hun? x

Hi, thanks for that.

I don't have my certificate to hand as i left it at my brothers where i photocopied it to send to my insurance company....

My sister-in-law just read out what it does say on there and it doesn't say anything about being fully accredited so i will look at some other brands and get some more training done!

Thanks again x

Give them a call and you may be able to do an advanced course or something for cheaper. Such a pain hey! xxx

Yeah i'll give that a try, thanks for the advice :)

Phone fake bake and ask if your certificate is accredited and if you are qualified to use other solutions as well as fake bake,
they don't need to know if you plan on not using it and this way they will be honest with you,
and you might not have to spend more money, hth

Lou is Tantrick accredited? just curious:hug:

Fully accredited hun,
if you hold a tantrick cert (i know you do lol) you are qualified to use any HVLP machine and any solution and will be able to gain insurance to do so

I thought so:hug:

The thing here is that we are accredited for the training of the use of HVLP systems and not our solution specific...this is why we are able to undertake the training on behalf of other brands and do so on a daily basis..... so in other words once certified by us any insurance company will provide cover on the basis of this factor no matter what solution is used once obtaining the HVLP certification.

in so far as the posted question....just because the fake bake cert doesn't say its accredited doesn't mean it isn't...

Call them and ask for clarification..

I will do just that! Thanks again for the help! :)
