My little room was finished in November and since then I have been moving desks, couches and trolley's to try and accommodate my Tan Tent which is coming to the end of its life as it would much rather be an aubergine than a circle :lol:
Well I have finally had enough and am trying something new:)

I am waiting for a small piece of lino to fit in the corner then I place a towel on top for the client to stand on.

I was wondering what you all thought and what do you use if you don't use a tent?

Hi

I think you've got a good idea there, however it doesn't look very wide? Will you have enough room if clients stretch out their arms?

Have a trial run(if you haven't already done so) and see if it works. Otherwise, it's easily washable (floor and curtain) and so long as its in a private area and no-one else can see, it should be okay.

I am mobile and have to use a tent, if I was home or salon based, I would probably do something similar to this.

A tiled area (on the corner walls) would also work as they could be sponged down after each tan.HTH:hug:

The way I was taught was the client only has to put thier arms up and not out the side so the width should be ok.

I did both my daughters last night and it seems to be ok.
I have attached little hooks on the skirting boards then made small holes in the curtain so when I am spraying the curtain doesn't flap about.

I hook one of the corners onto the leg of a chair to stop it moving I am looking for something I can stick to the floor but I don't want it to be permanent not figured that out yet!!

I think its a great idea and if you can secure the bottom of the curtain it will work a treat. What about using those little suction pads I think they have a hook thingy on them so you could attach them to the curtain then "lick n stick" lol.

Very ingenious Karen..well done.

Why thank you Sir Collin. :)

Looks great hun, would love to have a "little" room some days, mobile can be exhausting!!
Good luck hope it works.:hug:x

I had this exact same thing in my cabin when i originaly set up, it worked a treat!
Only reason I changed it was because I needed the room for storage, (does anyone else seem to accumlinate cupboard fulls) so went back to a pop up tent so i could put it away. I was happy with how it worked though
x

thats looks really smart, im very lucky that i have a tent in a huge room, but the tan seems to settle on everthing in the room, does this happen to you hxx

I like it ;) where did you get the ring from? i want one:lol: my room is small too and its a nightmare shifting things aroung all the time, this looks perfect

I do have a tent but i never use it in the salon,
i use it when i go out to teach,

same as you i put a black towel down on the floor and spray the client whilst they are stood in front of a tiled wall.

I like what you have done, it looks good
