hi there people..just wonderd if you guys could help me..ive posted a thread bfore about tanning..ive now got my course booked in may..exxciited..neway...ive bin practicing on my family who dont mind being tested on and ive noticed that when im spraying them its cumin out nice..(not saying its perrrfect at all)this was purley personal use but..found that the next day if they have a shower, alot of the solution is comin off leaving them with a lighter tan than before..is this normal or not
just wanted to no as if i ever to start on the public wouldnt ever want them bein dissapointed..thanks

please help.x.

It depends on how string a colour guide you solution has. If it has a strong colour guide, then it is likely that this will happen.

Sounds to me that this is a normal situation where after the initial colour guide is washed of that the tan appears ,as it does,to be not as dark as before the shower.

It does take people different time scales for tans to develop..those that develop slower do have this problem to deal with more so than those who's tans develop faster

good to hear its normal thank u for your comments..
dont no if im allowed to say what im using at the moment or not..but i do find its a lovley colour but im struggling to see where im putting it as the guide isnt that obvious.ive got a friend who a aint seen in a wile but wants it doin 2morow so im hoping it goes well..even tho i know her very well you always wana do your best.x

You will learn everything you need to know from your training,
you are more likely to get into bad habits which are hard to break by practising before been trained, hth

Yes this is normal, this is the guide colour coming off but the % of colour that you sprayed your family with is say 8% and they want it a little darker then spray them with darker lotion.

Yes it is normal but what I find tends to happen is the client (or model in your case) sees the guide colur and thinks great. Then the tan starts to develop underneath the guide colour (which is what is supposed to happen) so they go darker (you can see my friend Ella going browner as you watch her) and they get used to that colour. Then they have a shower next morning and it looks like it has all come off, even more so because they were tanned underneath the guide colour so were used to looking even darker. Therfore making them feel like it has all come off. Does that make sense? That is what I find happens (primarly to me, but also to my clients sometimes too)

Good luck and enjoy the tanning!

Try using a tan solution with a true guide colour. Its never a perfect science as mentioned above but I know some products are very very misleading. Fake Bakes a prime example and so is Su-Do. Clients have been dissapointed the next day because their tan is so much lighter.

If your clients are happy with the colour the next day I wouldn't worry too much, unless they wanted to be dark and they seem not to have got much colour from your solution.
