Hello lovely geeks.

I am in the process of setting up my own business (mobile), waiting on info from direct gov and have set up insurance with ABT today. All v exciting....

Trying to think of a name, can I please have your thoughts on the following:
Freckles
Yve's Beauty Zone
Beauty Zone
Yve's
Pamper Zone
Yve's Pamper Zone
Beauty Matters
First Impressions
Looking Good
Yve's Beauty Box

If you dont mind me saying, you look like a cute wee thing in your picture so a cute name should go with it, and your name (Yve) is a cute name too....sorry im just thinking in a kind of branding way...im seeing beauty box with blacks and dark dark pinky tones in a logo...

possibly talking a load of rubbish but my honest opinion!!!

I'm doing CND foundation course in May and hope to start up as a mobile nail technician so I've still got all that stuff to look forward to (and stress about).

thanks kim & i thought that was my sexy look!!! lol, i'm only 5ft so i guess that adds to the cute factor! thanks for your input into all the names.

good luck in your course rockyshaphire, hopefully once you're getting set up i'll be in a position to give you some good advice.

looks like it might just be yve's beauty box. i did quite like freckles for a while but i didn't think it would appeal to a wider audience...

I love the name freckles although when I lived in the Middle East for a few years not many ppl got the whole freckles thing and I once had a Phillipino beauty therapist tell me how i can get rid of them lol
I'm slightly worried that the name might not catch on to a wider market. one of the girls on my course (she's from the Middle East) asked me why i would want to call my name after ephelides !

thats a culture thing, not getting the whole " freckles " thing ..
i wouldnt let it put you off if you love the name, after all how many middle eastern customers are you likely to have
presumably you will have a description of your business/services when you advertise or a tagline on your web site etc so people wont need to guess what it is that you do, i wouldnt worry if the word beauty isnt in your business name - im a makeup artist and trade under my own name, i could be anyone from a dentist to a solicitor, but as previously mentioned i obviously have description of my business alongside my web site address with any advertising or promotion and the tagline makeup and beauty underneath my name on my web site
if you really like it, go for it .. i think its cute and sassy,dont let a couple of random people you off !!
