Are there any tips available for people with flat nails? I was practising on a friend the other day, who had HUGE nails, and were also v. flat, so I was having to oversize, then file the sides down to get a good fit. Having a flatter tip would have made this so much faster! I've checked out my local wholesalers, but they only seem to do standard tips. I don't mind filing away the sides, but then I'd need a tip larger than a number 1 for her thumb!
Where can I get either:
> Tips for flat nails
or
>Tips larger than size 1?

Your help is much appreciated!

I'm sure that Alan Roy did a pack of oversize tips but doesn't appear to be on their website. They do an ultra tip too for 'flatter' nails. Welcome to Alan Roy nails, the home of amazing nail products might be worth giving them a ring.

I have some from star nails, there really good as well...xx

Pro-Impressions - I have a box of their tips I bought from local tech who was stopping being a tech - I bought her whole kit - as you do.
But, there was this particular box of tips and they have big tip sizes - the biggest is something like a B1 -not in the salon, so can't look. They fit my client whose thumbs I had to sculpt in the days before I could sculpt iykwim! I god send lol.
I can sculpt now, so it's not a problem - sculpting could be your best option too - if she's a mate - ask her if you can practise your sculpting techniques on her. No need to buy tips or glue & you'd save yourself a whole heap of time too - just prep & go! Yes, it sounds like a hair shampoo commercial, but it's true!:hug:

Just found a link.......
PRO IMPRESSIONS

I'm not sure what they were, as I've never ordered anything from this place, but you could give them a bell and ask?
