Took my habit tic to far !!

The other night I was reading a book and having a pic at my thumb at the cuticle (as usual) well the book must have been good, because I began having a chew as well, then suddenly thought "Ouch thats more painful than usual"

I had nawed at my nail plate, at the matrix, its pretty gross, but thought I would show a picture, so you can see the damage done, just hope it isnt permanant

My sister had a habit tic when she was a kid,
she used to rub the base of her thumb nail with her forefinger,
I took a pic the other week....

yes its very painful and Emma that is exactly what mine usually looks like, but I buff out the ridges

Not any more lol, I was Jess's model once for the nail comps and she caught me picking my thumb while waiting to start and I made it bleed, so am a crap model I am afraid:lol:
