Hi,
I am qualified in spray tanning, but only offer that mobile, as at the moment I use a room in my house for nails, mainicure waxing etc. I will offer spray tanning here when I eventually get MY summer house / salon, But until then I want to offer cream tanning in my home salon. Anyone know where best to get the correct training. I live near Manchester??? Any advise welcome.
Thanks.
Lotsa luv x

It rather depends upon which company's products you want to use. For instance I use Fake Bake and was trained by them in London on lotion applied tan - I don't do spray tanning. Does your spray tanning company offer lotion applied tanning product? If so, and you're happy with their spray tan offering you may want to consider them for the lotion one. Did you have a specific company in mind?

Hi,
I use Sun Lab for spraying, But have used others, I am always happy to try different products, always feel should keep trying new products. I don't mind which cream tan I train with, I will check at NSI where I did my training you could be right, I hope they do a cream training, would be so easy to get to.
Thanks for you help.

Have you put this idea across to your clients to see what there response is,
in this day and age the majority want the speed and efficiency of a spray tan, it would be a shame to spend money on a training course to find that your clients would prefer a spray tan hth

Louby makes a valid point!
Interesting that your clients prefer spray tanning; I wonder if there is a regional difference. What do others think?

Hi,
Most do prefer spray tanning, but I have not got the space at the moment, I am using a ground floor bedroom in my home as my temporary home salon, and it is not big enough for the tent and everthing else. Also don't want to spray tan in my house. So I thought I would offer the cream tanning most clients are quite pleased with this, as they are not too keen on spray tanning in their homes too. Even though I do use an extraction system in my pop up tent.
I will probably be another 12 months before I have my new home salon extension, with a spray tanning area in it.
So any advice on where to get the training is appreciated, the cost is not the worry, just another day of training, which I will enjoy.
Thanks to all.
Lotsa luv x

I think you should contact any of the tanning companies and have a chat with them. Fake Bake can be contacted on 0870 0544455.
