Using sunbed after spray tan!!!!

I know this sounds MAD but I was asked last night by a client if she could use a sunbed after being spray tanned.... reason being that she is going on holidays in a couple of weeks and, as she is very fair skinned, wants to build up protection to the sun by using sunbeds (but wants to have regular spray tans in the meantime).

I honestly could not answer her as I was just lost for words....

Is this possible?

Hi,
I did read this somewhere, just tried to find it, but can't.
"Spray Tan Cocktail" if memory serves me right, you go on the sunbed 1st, then have the spray tan.
Something to do with the PH balance on the skin will make the tan take deeper ????
Not 100% sure, someone on here will know, so I will keep a watch on this thread.

Yes it is possible, and as mentioned by the other geeks its a spray tan cocktail. They often do these in salons that have tanning and sunbeds. Never tried it myself but i heard it gives a deep dark look.

I would tell her to stay off the sunbed and have a spray tan. She can buy some top up tan and there is no spf in it so she will still tan through it. Honestly when will people realise these beds are so dangerous. It makes me mad xxx

If you spray her with essence of summer or autumn gold from tantrick they will react with the sun bed or natural sun and the spray tan colour will deepen, hth

Hiya .I am intrigued How does the spray tan react with UVA and UVB rays? Does it react when the spray tan is developing or do you go on the sunbed first?
