Hi everyone,

I have been thinking for a long time that I want to open my own salon and have now decided I should take the plunge. Ive been mobile for 2 and a half years with a good regular base of clients and I've been doing nails and beauty for about 7 years now so I feel I am ready for the next step. In my area there are a couple of salons but they don't have a good reputation and I think people go to them because there isn't any option. I know I could do it so much better. A lot of my clients have given me good feedback about it and have given me lots of ideas to make me stand out from the others. I want to make it primarily a nail bar with beauty rooms as none of the salons near me offer good nail services (most of my business now is nails and this is what I enjoy most) I have a couple of premises in mind that are right in the town centre. I just don't know where to start in making it happen?? Any advice would be great. Also I'd like to hear opinions on the credit crunch as I'm aslo thinking is it wise to start up now with people tightening their belts. At the moment I haven't been affected by it in my mobile business.

Your opinions will be gratefully recieved.

Thanks in advance for your help xx
