Water decals on Shellac

I use CND shellac, but I think it also depends on the decals. I have used some that are lovely and thin, and you can't see the plastic when applied. I have also tried some where the plastic was so thick, that I was convinced I hadn't removed them off the backing. I had they were just too thick to use.
If you are having difficulties, I wouldn't give up, just try another type/brand, as that may be more successful.
