I was wondering if you guys use a oil for pre-wax, for strip waxing? Got the Jasmine Oil but says on it it is post wax.

Also I've watched the whole ball wax dvd and got the new beBeau wax. The strip wax doesn't seem to glide out as far on the leg, it seem to drag. I thought it was going to be similar stuff to the one on the dvd. What I am doing wrong?

You can use the Jasmine oil before and after waxing.

I've never tried BeBeau wax but it isn't the wax being used in the Whole Ball of Wax. In fact, that wax in the dvd is Cirepil, Perron Rigot wax. xxx

Thanks Kim.

I was aware that it wasn't the same wax as in the dvd, just thought it was similar. Perphaps putting the jasmine oil on first may make it glide better. Does the PR wax glide like this? Maybe need to try that.xx

Have you got the wax pot on high enough? You will maybe do better if you just use the edge of the spatula rather than the flat part.
I have used Berins Ease and BeBeau strip wax and there really isn't that much difference and both spread about the same. Obviously Lori has had years of practice and can make things look very easy but you might just need a little practice to get the hang of it :)
