I have just qualified in waxing and am trying to set up for going mobile, i have all the kit, insurance etc. the bit im stuck on is charging customers, i have fixed prices but not sure on how to keep a record of what and whose paid. do i need an invoice book and write down what people have paid while at they're homes for my records?? not sure how to go about it. basically how do i keep records of payments for tax purposes? any ideas?!?
 
I wriite it ion my diary beside each client, then tot it up weekly and monthly x
 
I have an invoicing book I got from Staples and it wasnt expencive!
Helps me see exactly what I have done as my copy is kept in the invoicing book!

I have an excell spreadheet and on weekly basis I go through my diary and put on the spreadsheet the date, first name, what treatment, how much paid, cheque or cash. No surnames- I don't want to breach the data protection act... :)
