Blimey, if an NVQ is the be all and end all, God help the industry!!! Haha!

Oh my god yes! Just look at how out of date they are for techniques and products. And these are considered the standard to which we work.

Kim Lawless Speed Waxing and Intimate Waxing courses are both accredited by us; if you would like to get insurance with us for intimate waxing, we would recommend saving up for her course :)

Over the weekend, we’ve had a few queries regarding our comment relating to Kim Lawless in this thread. Just to clarify, our comment was made in the context of the thread as a direct response to the original question posed by HazelEyes, where she questioned whether she needed to complete Kim Lawless’ intimate waxing course for insurance purposes. She was specifically considering Kim’s course and we just wanted to confirm that Kim’s courses have been accredited by us; in addition we expect an intimate waxing certificate for insurance purposes. We appreciate that read in isolation, this comment could be misconstrued. To be clear, BABTAC accredit a number of intimate waxing providers including Axiom Bodyworks, NKD waxing and London School of Threading and Waxing, all of which are acceptable from an insurance point of view. We hope this clarifies things for everyone.
