I'm making a new l&p toenail for a client next week who had hers removed. I know HOW I'm going to make it but I'm still a little unsure of how to tell her to wear and care for it. If it is stuck to clean dry skin with gelbond is there a way to safely remove it and store it without affecting the l&p? I don't think she wants to wear it all the time in case it falls off and she loses it. I'm thinking maybe coat it all over with hard gel so the adhesive can be removed with acetone? What do you guys think?

Cheers,
Hazel

Golly woman, you don't go for easy customers, do you?! Sorry, got no reply for you, just find your posts fascinating!

Why don't you make her a spare? x

Yes, I will do this. In fact she wants one in french finish and one natural for painting with enamel. I was just thinking though, if she has a special do she would want it freshly and therefore firmly attached. Do you think if I coated the entire nail with hard gel she would be able to remove it with acetone without damaging it?

Cheers,
Hazel
