If you decide to have it in a field or hall with no bar you can hire a mobile bar, they provide the drink and the staff, means there's no fear of running out if you do it yourselves! I've been engaged for 3 and a half years and have made no plans yet. I'm in two minds, my heart wants the princess day but my head says its too much money for ONE day.

Sometimes wish I wasn't engaged as people constantly ask "no date yet?"

How about The Chesterfields? You could maybe have a marquee there? No idea if they do weddings, but they have beautiful grounds xxx

The White Lion Alvanley do marquee receptions in a lovely setting too, but it might be a little too far for you.
