Hi everyone
Everytime I wax someone's eyebrows I always seem to end up tweezing more than Im waxing off. I take a few hairs off with the wax strips but then I use my tweezers to get the rest off.

What am I doing wrong?

I follow what I was taught in college, ie cleanse the area, use a pre wax then a tiny bit of talc then vasaline on the area's Im not waxing.

Is this right. Im soo confused and Im probably doing it wrong.

HELP

Thanks so much to anyone that can advise me!

I would try giving up the vaseline, and applying the wax very very thinly so when you press down on the strip it doesn't spread. The point of the vaseline is to mask the part of the eyebrow you want to leave behind. But if you are careful with the wax, it will be fine. Alternatively, switch to hard wax as it will stay where you put it, no fear about taking off too much brow and it gets a good grip of strong hairs.

Using Vaseline on the brows is SO 1980's. Use a thin layer of strip wax to remove just the vellus hairs from the top, middle and bottom. Then perfect your shape with tweezers always.

As Zo Zo said, non strip wax is good too and I always use this on mens brows as it doesn't give that drag queen, over sculpted look. xxx
