Hi guys, I trained last May with a company to do spraytans and am now using Sienna X, unfortunately the company that I trained with has finished. We were told that when tanning if someone still had make up or deodrant on to use Tea Tree wipes that the company sold, as this company is no longer going I don't know what to use, are baby wipes ok or do they create a barrier from the tan. What do you guys tend to use and can you give me any other tips
Sam xx:confused:

Sienna have an exfoliating spray which I have in my kit but have never used which is for unprepared walk-ins and for people who just forget that they are having a tan so that would probably be the thing to use. I think you spray it on and wipe it off, although you would be wise to check that as it has been a very long day! Lx

p.s. babywipes can be quite greasy sometimes I think so possibly they wouldn't be the best thing although other geeks may know more than me as I have never used them myself - I'm full of opinions tonight with really very little substance:eek:! Lol Lx

I normally make it fairly clear to the client that they should arrive free of make up and deodorant. I do have some Scuff wipes, I think they are called, for removing deodorant. If the client is wearing make up, I simply give them a bottle of cleanser for their skin type and some cotton wool pads. In an emergency, I would simply send them into the bathroom with a clean flannel to remove their deodorant. Keep it simple x

I always get my client to shower before their tan but then I am mobile so guess this is easier xxx

You can use exfoliating wipes for this. I use Buffwipes. HTH. x

Hi i was trained to put warm water and Jiff lemon juice in your bottle and give a quick spray over with this first, this apperently does the job well, and lots cheaper than stuff you buy specially. Havn't had to this yet though. As again im mobile so they can nip off and have a quick wash.:)
