You need:

  • Pink. Gossip Girl is a good one, but quite bright
  • White for french - Sheek White, Taffeta is good to go over it
  • Blue - Caution is popular
If funds are so limited I would steer away from any more reds or dark colours or glitters at the moment because of the ones you already have.

Actually I think I may have got confused. It could be gossip girl I have. Next on the list is def a white and pink for French. Maybe an orange too, I'm thinking spring & sun. I had the bright pink colour on last Thursday and it was a gorgeous day. My nails were just glistening lol. Had loads of compliments on the colour. Will def have a look before Thursday. Thanks again:)xx

Gossip Girl layered with Red Roses ( or Stand Out) is lovely

Bella's Vampire then Good Gossip then Vegas night's gives a beautiful colour, popular at Christmas cause of all the different sparkly colours.
If your starting out, i'd go with what the other geeks have suggested, a white, a very light pink (i've got taffeta, light elegant & ambience) so that you can do french with your white. A couple of pastels for spring then as the year goes on you can add more darker colours depending on trends.

I've been only doing Gelish since October last year & have already over 35 bottles of colours, so with layering it's a fair few choices for my clients.

However, i've just done 2 lists:

Need:
Sheek White (defo need as mine has ran out)
Sweet Morning Dew (more want than need)
Cashmere Kind of Girl (more want than need)
Princess Tiara (more want than need)
Night Shimmer (more want than need)
Medieval Madness (more want than need)

Want:
Sunrise in the city
Oocha Coocha Bing Bang Bam
Need a Tan
Forever Beauty

My Need list may have to be altered as i cant quite afford 6 new bottles

But saying that, depending on how my day goes tomorrow with my specialists, i might treat myself :wink2:

I have the following colours arriving today (hopefully)!

Cashmere Kind of Gal
Seafoam
Need a Tan
Elegant Wish
Queen of Hearts
Shake it Til you Samba

Tomorrow I am off to the Brit Awards :) eeeek! And I need some inspiration for my nails. What shall I do to them this evening? Was hoping to try out some of my new ones but can't decide what to do... I don't want anything related to the Brit awards (as obviously it's going to be on for a few weeks) just want something cool and eye catching :) by ideas?

I'm thinking - shake it til you samba - what glitter would look nice with that? Xxx

I love shake till u samba, wore it loads last year.. Probably one of my favourite colours! I bet izzy wizzy would look nice over it as its quite a subtle glitter :) I also really like cashmere kind of gal. It looks really good on xxx

Why have all the pictures and hearts been removed from this thread?

Oh I can't see that on the app anyway !

Does this pic work...?

Yes, I can see that. The others were all there but seem to have been removed/edited by a mod. The main page shows "1 Attachment" which is the one you have just put up!!!!

Oh no :( that's not good then because what's the point in us having this thread? It's for us to share colours etc xxx

I don't have many at the moment, only in the 20's somewhere I'd say, but more than that on my colour pops due to layering etc. Even now my clients say "Wow, you've got loads", then they sit there for ages making a decision. I'd dread to think how long it would take if I had the same amount as some others on here lol xxx

I was wrong - I have 33 then lots of layered ones :) x

Well ladies I did my layering today on all of my 4 colours lol. Must admit I didn't think there would be much difference but I was wrong. Love them. Will be purchasing the sheek white & a pink for French + some pastels on Thursday. If anyone can help with the pastel colours that would be gr8. Thanks:)xx

I love sea foam as a pastel but steer clear of princess tiara. It fades to a horrible grey :(

My Princess Tiara doesn't fade at all. I had one bottle that did fade but they replaced it and it doesn't fade at all. It's one of my favorites.
