Hi, thanks for the compliment! Yes I did use striping tape, it was actually my first attempt! Beginners luck perhaps! I did freak out a bit before pulling it off, I prayed to the nail gods that it would work!

Are you rolling the image rather than stamping straight down gently. I had this problem and found it was because I was rolling the stamper.

Thanks for the tip. I followed wonderful realmrsgrey's mermaid nail tutorial today. I stamped down rather than rolled and it worked like a treat.
A big thank you to both of you, for the help and inspiration.
I used IBD Turtle Bay, irredescent sea green glitter, mini hex glitter, and silver shells.

Brisa Lite Smoothing Gel mixed with CND Additive Plush Velour from the Modern Folklore collection. Stamped accent finger with Color Club holographic polish
