Busy day doing nails for the races...These are my faves of the day [emoji140][emoji184][emoji470][emoji177]

What what what.. When u say a pot of white with a hint of nude did u put that all over the White?
I've been doing white feathered down from free edge halfway then pink from cuticle halfway 3 times and once filed some look ok some don't [emoji45][emoji45] and I'm finding the filing is critical to the blending one wrong file and it's not blended
I had 4 pots...

1 pot completely white powder for a VERY thin bead at the tip

A pot of white:nude (3:1) for the 2nd bead blended over the 1st bead

A pot of nude:white (3:1) for 3rd bead

Cuticle area completely nude bead blended down towards the tip.

Hope that makes a bit better sense...

Some pretty mermaid nails I did for my sister :)

I don't like wearing bright polishes and find I'm becoming more reserved with my own nails the longer I do them so decided to do something a bit different and went dotty!

Do you do the backward method for the tips

Smile line is looking crisp!! [emoji7]

Mine currenty, lacquer and reverse stamping. Been on over a week now though and decided today to chip badly lol.

And my Easter mani (lacquer again)

A couple iLac manis from this week. Still struggling to get gel perfectly crisp like I do with lacquer. Think I need to leave a slightly bigger gap maybe. I want to work thinner but then get no coverage. Had a client today which took me literally forever and I still wasn't happy with the final result, plus I made her late and felt awful. I used Gelicure and the base coat kept getting bubbles. I keep feeling like I am just slow and crap at this tbh :/

ETA: how the heck do I make these smaller?! I just put them on from my ipod, they are huge!

Yes I find it easier. A little secrets blue on the tips then acrylic and the dots on top. I'm struggling with the purple middle finger, it's a bit too much!

No I think it's nice. It's broken the pattern up a bit. I get bored of my nails so quickly I'm tempted to get out of bed and go spice up my nails a bit

Bit of lacquer and stamping today. Might change the index fingers at some point, not sure how well the nude works with it all.

This is my first attempt with a dotting tool using Tropix and creme puff [emoji51]
