Like you recommended I used my Gel brush no.7 for first 2 coats, then wiped excess off my polish brush with a sponge, dipped and did 1 - 2 more coats - it was quite a quick application xx

I was gutted that after I applied my top coat and took the photo, it was only then I realised I'd missed a bit on my little finger I was in such a rush I didn't even realise xxx

Inspired by Sarah22's revisit to sculpting, I decided to get my textbook out and have another go! I soaked off my pinky and middle finger and re-did with sculpts - I used Bio Sculpture Free Edge Gel and S-gel and finished with a normal colour overlay in No 20.

I can see that they are a bit wonky and too flared at the free edge. They don't feel too thick though.

I shall see how they go really want to offer this service to clients who may have the odd broken nail. They feel really strong - but in the past I've found they have not lasted anyway that was about 2 years ago so hopefully with experience behind me they'll be more successful
