I am going to order a new machine tomorrow but can someone tell what the difference between the tru spray and the 5008 is? has the tru spray got a better gun?

Don't worry......I have found out a bit more by searching on this site which I should have done in the first place :o

the answer is around £100 :D:D but technically nothing they both run at 1.7 psi and have the exact same spray pattern, the t200 was the market leader and was exclusive to some companies and they still big it up !!
I was involved in the constant repairs of the t100 and t200 machines and they are my pet hate..
the 5008 is british built for use on british distribution voltages the t200 was built for the american market and converted to run over here, however the windings on the motor are for 110v and very poor quality , there has been endless problems with it, burned out motors miss spraying bent needles ect the designer of the t200 is the same bloke who designed the 5008
it was his improved design in conjunction with british manufacture because the t200 had failed so often in the uk
We instantly stopped stocking the T200 s minimists when the 5008s were available
it could be argued that the t200 has brass fittings on the hose and a better hose design!!
But its only running at 1.7 psi so it makes no difference the hose is over engineeered :twisted:
go with the 5008 is my advice HTH

Thanks for the reply :D
After I did a search I found various write up's from you I have made my mind up it's the 5008 model that I want and will order this week.
There are various prices I have found for these machines but I 'wonder' if they are all the same thing, some offer free solutions with the machine but is it the same machine with a naff gun attached to it?

that i cant answer . but i can say . nouvatans gun with the machine is second to non :D after the bit ov buy cheap in the begining lol :o xx

I think we have all done that in the past:o

have a look at my profile page there are pictures of both maximist machines (yes there are 2 bearing the same name )
the standard 5008 machine with the standard gun is a great piece of kit :D
there is the pro gun version of the 5008 but it runs at the same psi has the same nozzle size and there is just no point in it in my opinion , we wont stock any thing if we dont believe its of benefit to our customers , its marketed as being made (from aircraft grade aluminium)
its running at 1.7 psi there is no need for aircraft grade aluminium !!
we have sold 100s almost 1000s of 5008s and had only 2 returned one was faulty and the other.... was perfect but was purchased by an odd ball customer who I refunded rather than have a load of ear ache lol !!
My advice is go for the standard 5008 it comes with 3 cups a spares pack and when set up correctly and being used by a trained therapist will produce up to 25 tans per litre hth
