I was just wondering because it looks really hard! Is it covered on foundation courses?
Thanks in advance geeks

Sculpting, like everything else, has to be learned. I found everything hard to start off with but it all became easier with practise.

Sculpting is not taught on the Creative foundation course but I don't know about other companies HTH

NSI teach sculpting as part of their foundation course.. they teach it before they teach tip and overlay. Or they did with me anyway :)

I was glad really because I like to sculpt now x

I taught myself really....I read all i could about it on here..and when a client came with a nail to repair i would sculpt instead of tip so i was practising without having to do a full set...once i got the hang of fitting the forms (which IMO is the hardest thing) i couldn't believe how much faster and easier it was compared to tipping. Now i do whatever i either feel like doing or is best for the nail.

I'm teaching myself to sculpt, reading and watching dvds to help me, but the hardest bit is fitting the forms. I had a client last week who had a real curved nail and i had a awful job fitting the form..xx

There is an article in tutorials called Form Placement guidelines.Check it out,it might help you.
