Will tan still develop after only 5 hours?

I intended using LA Fast tan on a client tonight and when I started I noticed it was actually the regular 12%. I offered to spray over with fast tan but client happy to keep this on overnight. However as she doesn't want too much colour do you think she could wash it off after 5 hrs before she goes to bed and still get some colour as I think she might do this.

I don't know the answer to this but please let us know the outcome. I think it's supposed to be left on 12 hours though? (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

I have often washed of a regular 8 hour tan after 6 hours and it was developed. So maybe it will.

I text the client. She did wash off before bed around the 5 hour mark. She's glad she did as she's very tanned today. So a 12% tan will still develop in 5 hrs. Good to know
